Day 14 - a song that no one would expect you to love

Well, I like this song.. I really don't know what people expect me to like. But usually it's country or something gay. So here's this!

Hi.

I confess the other night Brandon and I watched Country Strong for the first time (and I LOVED it) and while we were sitting there he goes "omg that's the girl on Gossip Girl"...... I've never watched Gossip Girl in my life.

I confess Lyla is wearing a 9 month outfit as we speak. WHHHAAAAAT?!?! and someone on my facebook actually said she looks small! I think she is growin like a weed!

I confess I contemplated telling about 6 people off this week. Of course all in emails. But then I decided it wasn't worth my time.. and after I got done I would probably just be more upset than I started out.

I confess I am over being nice to people that don't deserve it. I don't need negativity in my life.. or people that use me. So I am going to fill my life up with positive, outgoing, supportive, understanding people. So if you aren't one of those.. and you can't understand that other people's lives don't revolve around yours, back off and lose my number.

I confess that Brandon and I are going out with another couple tomorrow night and we haven't done that in.. well I have no idea how long. (without baby) I'm pretty excited!

I confess I haven't went to spinning all week. And next week is the wedding. BUT I am going today and I sit here as we talk with my "skinny wrap" on. :) I'll let you know how it works. haha.

I confess I played hair shop with Lyla yesterday. I was putting her hair in little ponytails and cracking up at her. Brandon told me to quit makin fun of her and I got sad then. hahaha. We also went on a little picnic in the yard yesterday evening. Think this weather is making me happier?!

I confess I have been counting down the days til I can go get a mani/pedi for my brothers wedding. Now that I'm a SAHM I just don't have the money to do things like that very often. or maybe it's that I don't want to hear Brandon bitch about it...

I confess I saw something about Back to the Future on the news this morning and now I really, really, really want to get out the dvd and watch it. But then I'd get nothing done today...

WTF Wednesday

hmmm. What do you think my number one will be today?? THIS F'ING HEAT. WTF. It makes me want to cry. I honestly think I jinxed the weather because I bought some new long jeans. Sorry guys, I did it.

Being on the wait list for spinning today. Really? A wait list? WTF. This girl needs to get in a bridesmaids dress so get your ass off that bike! Contemplating just showing up reallll early. What they gonna say to me?!

Googling Nuva Ring side effects last night and apparently a lot of women find they gain a lot of weight while on it. WTF? First thing I did? Made a phone call at 8 am to "discuss" my medications with my doctor! I swear if I get on the pill I won't forget a day. promise.

Wanting to eat everything in sight for the last 3 days. WTF?! Hormones anyone? I have some to spare.

Kristin Chenoweth making out with her dog on Ellen. WTF. and they just keep showing the clip.. not to mention this is a repeat (of course).. yuck! I used to think that little lady was soooo cute.

I'm gonna go back to these Teen Mom's having wayyyy to much money to throw around. WTF? Oh, let me just go out to California real quick to see if I wanna move there, oh, let me take my kid to a day care to just hang out with some other kids cause I feel like it, oh, let's have another baby.. what?!

Brandon throwing a fit that Evansville days is in September this year. WTF?? I am stoked about it!! Would you want to stand outside and watch a parade TODAY?! no. This heat is ridic. 

well. that's all I got. most likely not all, but I'm gonna keep my cool today. :) Happy Wednesday! And remember.. Just say WTF! it is Wednesday.

A Wilgraf Weekend

oh hey it's me again! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend. Mine was pretty good!
Friday night Brandon went out the the farm.. (agh.) So Lyla and I headed up to Red Bud to have dinner at Tequila's with my Mom and Dad. Well, after Lyla's Grandpa FINALLY got done mowing the grass that is.. Let's just say Lyla isn't very good at being patient :) It was an early night after a much needed marg!
Saturday was a poker run that started in Waterloo for my Aunt's friend that passed away in a car accident a couple years ago. All the proceeds went to the schools. Lyla stayed the day with her Aunt Heather. I grabbed a couple friends to go (Brandon had to work, of course.) And my mom and dad went too! It was a really fun day! It went all the way down to Rocher and back to Waterloo. We ended up staying in Red Bud when we got to the Office because we were having a good time there. And the night ended with Brandon driving me home kinda early. I can't hang like I used to:) But I'd call it a success!

 Sunday morning when me and Brandon woke up he was going to take me to get my car in Ruma so I could go get Lyla from my mom's and he was going to the farm for the day. But when I checked my phone I got a message saying my car was drove to Waterloo the night before... hmm. ok. Let's just say it threw our day off a little. So I called my mom to see if she could bring Lyla down because Brandon had to get to the farm and I had no car. She did and Brandon headed out. Lyla must have been wore out from Grandma's because she slept all.day.long. and I was right there snugglin with her. Later that evening Brandon got home and we packed up for our trip to Waterloo. We decided to have dinner at Applebees while we were there and it hit.the.spot! I needed the pick me up after that day. So I finally got my car (thanks to Brandon) and we headed home for an early night to bed, after all three of us snuugled and Lyla told us stories. Ahhhh, love my little family.. and that's all that matters!
