WTF Wednesday

two weeks in a row?! WTF!!

Let's start with the HORRIBLE skunk smell around my house today. It woke me up around 4 or so and it is still bad and it's 11. WTF?! ugh.. I have seen one around lately and it's real nasty looking. Small and ratty hair. yuck. I was hoping someone ran it over.. don't see it.

Being a single mom. WTF? I have a baby daddy and I live with him! agh! I swear if I want to do anything ever I have to get a sitter. But if he wants to do something oh, he just does it. And let's not get started on the farm and the 11pm nights and 4am mornings... OK that's all I will crab about him. I do love him. Me and Lyla could have a whole secret life and he would never know.....

People stapling up signs on poles for their yard sale, baby shower, party or whatever and not taking them down. WTF?! Who do you think does it if you don't? Or do you just not care at all? I shouldn't have bought a house on a corner with a pole and also leading to the legion I guess. I can't  wait to move to the country!

These old ass vans that are parked outside our neighbors  house. WTF already..  they are packed full of crap and so is the house. Supposedly that's why she doesn't live there anymore because nothing else will fit in there. it's a big eye sore. But what now? someone hit the vans. so they are all smashed up and everyone keeps coming by to see them cause they haven't caught the van hitting bandit yet. geeeeez.

This being what my livingroom looks like all.the.time. Even if I pick it up.. that's what she goes straight for. WTF is so great about that cabinet?? You know it has hurt your little fingers before Lyla! But honestly sometimes I just sit and watch her do it. Keeps her occupied..

WHAT, LADY?! I run this house.

In a nutshell, this is my life. And I have sweet potatoes and corn on my pants. WTF?

Everyone and their brother's mother going to a Cardinals game lately.. and I haven't gone to one all year! I used to get asked to go to them like 5 times a year. What? Baby momma's don't like beer and baseball? WTF.

Losing a whole bag of onions at the parade party. Brandon says he put them in the closet thing but I can't find them anywhere. WTF. I have a feeling this is not going to have a pleasant ending..

Grain trucks galore fling down the road. WTF. Oh how I dream of my sweet little quiet country cottage.

alright, going on a walk because October wants to pretend it's July in the midwest.
don't be a sour puss today. just say WTF. it is Wednesday.
Oh, and I weigh in tonight for the first time. if I don't lose anything you may see me at the local drinking establishments.... bubye!

ahh, fall is my favorite time of year.. why oh WHY are we so busy?! some of it is fun.. but I wish I had just a little time to sit back and relax with my boyfriend and my baby.. is that TOO MUCH TO ASK?!
let's play a little catch up. because well, I have been a bad blogger lately. I still blame it on my crap computer that my brother oh so lovingly told me "didn't come with a ten year warranty" the other day. Scratch having him work on it. Maybe my other brother can figure something out for me.. hint hint ehem..Dustin? And this computer I am on just doesn't cut it.  just slooow. and with my verizon internet connection in evansville you can just imagine. It takes a lot of patience that I don't have with a kid pulling all of my movies out of the tv stand. OK. THE SHOW MUST GO ON.

We went to the zoo last Thursday! Just me and Lyla and my friend Amy and her son Laithen. It was a blast!! Minus my sinus issues :/ But perfect day. The kids were GREAT. Then got back to Red Bud and met Sarah for margs and a night out on the town. yeeehaw I wish I could do that once a week! great day.

I mean, how much better does it get??



We didn't see anything crazy there. But some crazy lady told us that one of the snakes killed someone she knows and then they sent the snake to the zoo. yeah lady. I have the number to a good therapist. Amy said the last time she was there the big turtles were doing something bad. glad a missed it. WE DID get to see the baby elephant Kenzi. SO CUTE. and there was a baby rhino too! yipppeeee skippy.

Let's see. What else have we been doing?? OH! I don't think I ever told you about our parade party. There was like 88 kids here. Yeah. Ok, not really. More like 5. But all small small crazy children. It was a good day. We grilled tenderloin and had all sorts of snacks. numnumnum. And later we sat out by the fire on the straw bales I set out all by myself. check it.

WTF Wednesday

wooooweeee. it's been a while so let's get started.

My neighbor driving his lawn mower (because they drive it everywhere. it's a vehicle.) past my house last night and STARING into my kitchen window. WTF. Yeah, I'm bathing my child in the kitchen sink and feeding her baby food at the same time. SO? That doesn't give you permission to stare inside someones house. rude. didn't think I needed a blind on my kitchen window. guess I do.

Brandon comparing everything to cows lately. WTF. I tell him my doggie is sick and what was wrong. YEp. Happened to one of his cows once. And did you know that red haired cows get sick real easy and so do red haired people? WTF does that have to do with my dog?!

Walking home from Sarah's house today a dog jumped out of his yard  to bark and growl right in Lyla's face. Mind you this dog is bigger than me. WTF. seriously, sorry but if your dog is that big you HAVE to keep it in your yard. Made me so mad. So the guy was working on a car in his yard and I said hey dude, your dog just jumped out of your yard at my baby! He was just like, sorry. wttttfffff.. I thought my heart was going to beat right out of my chest.

Lyla's stroller deciding it didn't want to be open and standing up anymore today.. so it just folded up and layed down. With her in it. WTF!!!! freak out. it was laying flat on it's front all folded. I undid it and stood it up so fast and looked at her expecting blood.... and she giggled. oh man.

This irritating sound I keep hearing every.single.day. for the last 2 weeks. Almost like a lawn mower but more like a vacuum somewhere outside.. but I really like to have my windows open. On our walk today I figured it out. The old man neighbor leaf blows his WHOLE YARD... EVERYDAY. It takes.. seriously probably 2 hours. WTF?! if you need something to do I can give you something to do?? At least wait til some more leaves fall...

Going to get Lyla's pictures taken and picking them out to have them printed.. then getting them and they are out of focus.  WTF?! couldn't you tell me that before I bought them?? I could have picked different ones! And seeing the obvious one but now figuring out a couple more are too... UGH!

How cute right?!?!?! so I got this one blown up big and it is so blurry :(

This one is a little blurry too, but not as bad. oh, well.. I still love them.

My little lady not wanting to nap in her bed. STILL. WTF. I can put her down in it and try everything to get her to sleep.. she wont. as soon as I walk away she sreams. but the second I lay her in my bed it's lights out see ya tomorrow. AGH!! It wouldn't be a big deal.. but she has already fallen off the bed once, it is NOT happening again. I can't even turn my back while she is on that bed.

Why you aren't watching New Girl on FOX. WTF?! lol. it has me laughing out loud on a weekly basis. Ok, for 2 weeks now, but still. This girl makes up her own theme songs.

gotta go.. starting Weight Watchers tonight. WTF........ but seriously someone has got to do it.
Go ahead, say WTF. It's Wednesday.

I mean, maybe I shouldn't go as far as to say I hate this song.. but I am getting SO SICK of it. I used to looooove it. But man oh man, I feel like it is every other song I hear on the radio.

Oh my.. how long has it been since I last posted?! wayyyy too long. Let's see.. there's been a wedding in there and just busy busy days..and a half birthday!
As of September 1.... (drumroll please..) I have a tooth growin, giggling SIX MONTH old. Yes yes I know she is 6 1/2 by now! crazy crazy. So lets have a little Lyla update.
-she has her own "crawl". it's more like an army crawl right now, but hey, it works for her!! it's pretty funny to watch when you can tell she wants something really bad.. (like when her daddy comes home from work)
I think it might be time to start baby proofing the house.. she's on the move people.
-she has a tooth! well, like 1/12 of one. hehe. but it's there! Grampa says she'll be eatin steak with him any day now. I hope the rest go this easy.. she was a little fussy, but nothing horrible that a little Tylenol didn't kick.
-sitting up and playing with her toys is old news... she trys to pull herself up on things now, but doesn't quite get there.. yet..
-she is wearing pretty much all 6-9 and 9 month clothes. talk about a growth spurt. seems like I just went through everything to put away her 3 month stuff. nuts!
-still spitting up :( but not as bad!! we can actually go on a car ride now without being completely soaked after a few minutes. Outfits have been lasting sooo much longer too.
-she only wakes up a couple times a night to put her pacifier back in her mouth. But most nights she sleeps a good ten hours. ahhh. so nice!

SO SO much has changed in the last month or so. It is so fun to watch her grow. Even the ways she picks things up and plays with things is different. We just love it! I can't wait for the months ahead to watch her grow. But already realizing she doesn't like to be held like a baby at.all. Not even before bed anymore. ahhh, so bittersweet!  But so happy for a healthy, growing baby! I couldn't ask for anything more.

Mommy loves you Lyla Marie! and I'm pretty sure Daddy does too... <3
