Well, I like this song.. I really don't know what people expect me to like. But usually it's country or something gay. So here's this!

Hi.

I confess the other night Brandon and I watched Country Strong for the first time (and I LOVED it) and while we were sitting there he goes "omg that's the girl on Gossip Girl"...... I've never watched Gossip Girl in my life.

I confess Lyla is wearing a 9 month outfit as we speak. WHHHAAAAAT?!?! and someone on my facebook actually said she looks small! I think she is growin like a weed!

I confess I contemplated telling about 6 people off this week. Of course all in emails. But then I decided it wasn't worth my time.. and after I got done I would probably just be more upset than I started out.

I confess I am over being nice to people that don't deserve it. I don't need negativity in my life.. or people that use me. So I am going to fill my life up with positive, outgoing, supportive, understanding people. So if you aren't one of those.. and you can't understand that other people's lives don't revolve around yours, back off and lose my number.

I confess that Brandon and I are going out with another couple tomorrow night and we haven't done that in.. well I have no idea how long. (without baby) I'm pretty excited!

I confess I haven't went to spinning all week. And next week is the wedding. BUT I am going today and I sit here as we talk with my "skinny wrap" on. :) I'll let you know how it works. haha.

I confess I played hair shop with Lyla yesterday. I was putting her hair in little ponytails and cracking up at her. Brandon told me to quit makin fun of her and I got sad then. hahaha. We also went on a little picnic in the yard yesterday evening. Think this weather is making me happier?!

I confess I have been counting down the days til I can go get a mani/pedi for my brothers wedding. Now that I'm a SAHM I just don't have the money to do things like that very often. or maybe it's that I don't want to hear Brandon bitch about it...

I confess I saw something about Back to the Future on the news this morning and now I really, really, really want to get out the dvd and watch it. But then I'd get nothing done today...

WTF Wednesday

hmmm. What do you think my number one will be today?? THIS F'ING HEAT. WTF. It makes me want to cry. I honestly think I jinxed the weather because I bought some new long jeans. Sorry guys, I did it.

Being on the wait list for spinning today. Really? A wait list? WTF. This girl needs to get in a bridesmaids dress so get your ass off that bike! Contemplating just showing up reallll early. What they gonna say to me?!

Googling Nuva Ring side effects last night and apparently a lot of women find they gain a lot of weight while on it. WTF? First thing I did? Made a phone call at 8 am to "discuss" my medications with my doctor! I swear if I get on the pill I won't forget a day. promise.

Wanting to eat everything in sight for the last 3 days. WTF?! Hormones anyone? I have some to spare.

Kristin Chenoweth making out with her dog on Ellen. WTF. and they just keep showing the clip.. not to mention this is a repeat (of course).. yuck! I used to think that little lady was soooo cute.

I'm gonna go back to these Teen Mom's having wayyyy to much money to throw around. WTF? Oh, let me just go out to California real quick to see if I wanna move there, oh, let me take my kid to a day care to just hang out with some other kids cause I feel like it, oh, let's have another baby.. what?!

A Wilgraf Weekend

oh hey it's me again! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend. Mine was pretty good!
Friday night Brandon went out the the farm.. (agh.) So Lyla and I headed up to Red Bud to have dinner at Tequila's with my Mom and Dad. Well, after Lyla's Grandpa FINALLY got done mowing the grass that is.. Let's just say Lyla isn't very good at being patient :) It was an early night after a much needed marg!
Saturday was a poker run that started in Waterloo for my Aunt's friend that passed away in a car accident a couple years ago. All the proceeds went to the schools. Lyla stayed the day with her Aunt Heather. I grabbed a couple friends to go (Brandon had to work, of course.) And my mom and dad went too! It was a really fun day! It went all the way down to Rocher and back to Waterloo. We ended up staying in Red Bud when we got to the Office because we were having a good time there. And the night ended with Brandon driving me home kinda early. I can't hang like I used to:) But I'd call it a success!

 Sunday morning when me and Brandon woke up he was going to take me to get my car in Ruma so I could go get Lyla from my mom's and he was going to the farm for the day. But when I checked my phone I got a message saying my car was drove to Waterloo the night before... hmm. ok. Let's just say it threw our day off a little. So I called my mom to see if she could bring Lyla down because Brandon had to get to the farm and I had no car. She did and Brandon headed out. Lyla must have been wore out from Grandma's because she slept all.day.long. and I was right there snugglin with her. Later that evening Brandon got home and we packed up for our trip to Waterloo. We decided to have dinner at Applebees while we were there and it hit.the.spot! I needed the pick me up after that day. So I finally got my car (thanks to Brandon) and we headed home for an early night to bed, after all three of us snuugled and Lyla told us stories. Ahhhh, love my little family.. and that's all that matters!

I confess my day started off really good. Then turned to something not so good... I may need a drink.

I confess I couldn't go back to sleep after Brandon left this morning. I seriously thought I kept hearing something in my house. Now I know I just might have... But I layed there and after the storm was over I finally got a little sleep until Lyla woke up crying for her paci at 7.. then she slept til almost 9! whew.

I confess I could have went to my Aunt's house anytime today to pick up some t-shirts but I went right away this morning because I really, REALLY wanted some Hardee's breakfast. mmmmm.

I confess I bought the Eli Young Band cd today just because I really wanted that Crazy Girl song on cd and I can't make cd's on my computer anymore.

I confess I bought all the stuff to make my own dry erase board today at Wal Mart and I was totally stoked about it! Until I got it home and broke the glass taking it out of the frame:(

So cute right?! I loooved it!

Until this :( I WILL be getting another frame asap. LOVE how it turned out. Hate that my stupidness broke it.

I confess I made the thing anyway and when I went in the drawer to get out a nail and the hammer I found mouse poop :( Like, a lot. And it had to have just been there because I just used the dog treats it was in the other day. SO SO MAD!
We have never had a mouse or bug problem in this house ever! Makes me sad.

Forget today.

I confess I can't fricken wait til new Ellen's come on. All this old crap is driving me nuts. While I'm on that kick. I can't wait for Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, The Office, Parks and Rec, Two and a Half Men.. wait.

Let's talk about Two and a Half Men.. Ashton? Really? I confess I don't know about this. I never was too wild about "PUNK'D".

I confess I might just tear up that kettleball in a minute because I am so frustrated about this mouse and picture frame!

I confess I haven't been to Tequila's in over a WEEK! Go me!

I confess I am NOT ready for farming stuff to pick up again :(  Brandon text me today and said he might go out to the farm tonight and Sunday for sure. ughhhh. I hate being a single mom during farm season.

I confess I colored my hair really really dark brown. Like black. And I love it. And Brandon told me that's what I looked like when he fell in love with me. Melt my heart!

I confess I really really really want a new car. A jeep to be exact. And I have it all picked out. But when I showed Brandon he said "what do you want more.. a ring or a jeep? I said A RING! In the front seat of my new jeep when you bring it home? He didn't think it was funny.

I confess I am going on a poker run tomorrow and I think it's gonna be a lot of fun and I can't freakin wait! Maybe it will make me forget about this mouse issue....

WTF Wednesday (on Thursday..)

The other day I went to the mall and in the bathroom I was waiting for a stall when a little boy pointed at the tampon machine and asked his mom if there were alligators in there. WTF?!

I honestly can't do the whole Jillian dvd without peeing a little. WTF. I have 3 theories. Jillian either has no kids, she is superwoman, or she is wearing a maxi pad. I'm going with number 2 cause I don't think she could fit a pad in those pants.

I now know I am NOT ready for an 8 year old. W(hy) TF can't I get along with an 8 year old boy!?! OH not ready for Lyla to talk back to me!

Darcy insisting on licking my babies mouth. WTF. I spanked her butt Lyla I promise! lol, and no, I wasn't just letting her do this while I took a pic.. I was trying to get a pic of all three of them.. then Josie decided to lay down and stretch and Darcy went in for the kill.
Being ridiculously addicted to BLT's. WTF! I am supposed to be LOSING weight...

Deadliest Catch not being on right now. WTF.

Teething babies. WTF. When are these teeth actually gonna come in?! And how long is she just going to cry about her gums?! Tired mommy and daddy...

Day 10 - a song that makes you fall asleep

I sing this song to Lyla sometimes when I am trying to get her to sleep. I don't know why.. I just like it and I always think of it. So then, of course it makes me tired too :)

Spinning, shopping, and sitting

Last night was my 2nd night of spinning! I am proud to say I could do a little more this time. Starting to build my strength up a little I think.. (thank you Jillian?) But I still can't do it all :( I'll get there. Cause I ain't stoppin! Not as "jello" today but I was really feelin it last night. The soreness will most likely set in tomorrow, when I have to go back! ha, oh well. I am thinking I am down about 3 pounds in a week. That's a start right?! ughhhh.

Going shopping this afternoon for all kinds of stuff. Lyla needs a dress for my brother's wedding and rehearsal dinner, Momma needs some new jeans and I got to get all kinds of hair stuff for me, my grandma, my aunt and my mom. busy busy! and money money. yuck. When I told Brandon I needed new jeans he thought it was completely ok to tell me to break out my maternity jeans. WHAT?! uh, no. haha, boys.

Today is Lyla and my last day all alone at home! Well, kinda. Starting tomorrow I am picking up my friend Sarah's son from school everyday until they get home from work. I am excited to get on a "sortof schedule". And he is 8 so I think it will be nice to have him around sometimes. He is really good with Lyla and just loves her! I just hope he doesn't ask me to help with homework. haha, just kidding! :)

A Wilgraf Weekend

Look at me! It's Monday and I am doing my weekend wrap up! Sounds like I got my act together today huh?! nah.. just don't feel like doing anything else :)

Let's start with Thursday. Because, well, I liked Thursday. Daddy stayed home with Lyla while I went out with the girls! We met at Tequila's (imagine that...) and went jeepin' from there in Sarah's new jeep! Ahhh, perfect night. Perfect weather. We even wore hoodies! It was so nice:) I am soooo sick of the heat, what a nice break we've had! We had a wonderful time and I have a feeling it will be happening again real soon!

Friday... I think me and Lyla layed in bed together most of the day. Cause you gotta have those days right?! Ahhhh, love those days with her. Then Friday night was Blogger Bunco! I found out that I really love that game.. but next time I want to play for the big bucks! haha. I am kinda competitive with stuff like that... I loved it though. Bloggers are pretty fun people :)

Saturday Brandon had to work and I was up bright and early with my parent's dogs.. them dogs were driving me crazy! Wanted to go out, wouldn't "go" cause they aren't used to a leash, then they'd run circles in my house for a while, then would nap right on my feet. Oh man they are harder to take care of than Lyla! geez. Needless to say they went back home and it was Sean's turn to take care of them. :) Lyla and I napped til Brandon got home and we just hung out at home together. With some delishous chicken taco's with homemade pico de gallo. yummy in my tummy. We were both amazed that they were so good. ha.

Sunday Brandon got up around 5 something to go squirrel hunting. When he got back home around 9 something he was hungry so we took a walk downtown to the restaurant to get breakfast. Lyla looooved the walk and loooved the attention from the waitress. She even cried when she walked away. Silly girl. After breakfast we walked a little more downtown and looked at the river for a while. It was so nice Brandon and I decided to go out for the day and see if Uncle Sean and Aunt Jill wanted a baby for the day. It was so nice to go out and not have any plans.. just do whatever we want! We had a great day topped off with a Sue's pizza with extra parmesan cheese. :)

Day 07 - a song that reminds you of a certain event

This song reminds me of the night I met Brandon at Josh and Cassie's wedding. We listened to it in the car after we left the wedding. And the next day we hung out and it came on the radio right away in the car. It was pretty cool and we both have loved this song ever since!

I went to spinning last night. I am trying to stick to a "healthier lifestyle" for a while. A long while. I have some serious issues. Anyway. Hardest workout I have ever tried. OMG. Sure, I can ride the bike.. stand up? hover? sprint? BAH!! I am jello today. Not sore yet, jello. But I am gonna try to stick to it! I want to do it 2 times a week if I can...
On that same subject: I went to WalMart yesterday to get Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. I have heard good things about it and that it works. Well, I guess it does because it was SOLD OUT. Rack empty. But I decided to get another one called Shred-It with weights. I am going to start it today so I'll let you know how it goes! I got some weights and a kettleball too.. wtf is a kettleball? I'll let you know later cause I don't get it either.
What else is on my mind?!?! hmmmm.
-Tonight will be the third time this week I am going to Tequila's. (maybe the margs are part of my "issue"...)
-How in the hell do these "Teen Moms" afford these nice ass houses?? I don't get it. They have like part time jobs and hang out  the rest of the time. wtf? do they get paid to do that show?!
-Brandon will have Lyla by himslef tonight and tomorrow night.. hmm. this should get interesting.
-Lyla is about to grow out of her six month clothes and I still haven't cleaned her three month stuff out of her closet and dresser.. Slacker mom. ugh. My baby is growing so fast:( it's a mess around here! And I swear in the last week she just grew straight out of her diapers. Ugh, looks like some of my friends are getting some 1-2 diapies! I still have a little pack of newborn too, next baby I'll be a better planner. (in 12 years.)

WTF Wednesday

Who's missed WTF Wednesday!?! I have!

WTF happened to my Wilgraf Weekend this week? Well, you see, I cried all weekend because I missed my baby. So I didn't want to talk about it. lol. maybe I'll post about it later!

When people write on someone's wall on FB or comment on their status and spell their name wrong. WTF?! It's RIGHT THERE. Just look up.

People pretending they have this imaginary perfect life with their perfect husband and their perfect kids in their blog and on FB. oh get over it, we know you aren't perfect so say a cuss word and drink a beer. WTF.

Finding the cutest tiniest little tree frog in our garage last night and even tring to catch it so I could keep it and it could be Lyla's friend.. and Brandon trying to smash it with the garage door. WTF.

The sight of Brandon trying to teach me how to drive the riding lawn mower last night..after a couple margaritas.. WTF. and it's one of those ones with the handle bar things, not a steering wheel. What are they called? wtf... he even asked why I couldn't just drive it in a straight line!

Being skinnier when I was pregnant than I am now. WTF. maybe it's the margs...

Brandon waking up the other morning when we were camping and telling me (with a really sad face) that he wished the burrito man was there. WTF?! ( I guess there's a burrito man at his work...)

Coolers leaking in the back of my car over the weekend.. WTF! I can't even tell you what it smells like. but it's bad. real bad.

People having inside jokes on facebook. Ok, no one else gets it. It's only funny to you. Don't you get THAT? Wtf. Quit clogging up my newsfeed with your dumbness.

The fact that it's not fall yet. WTF.

WTF?! haha, I love us.

Dish Network saying "oh yeah, we can start sending your bills in the mail now." then the day I GET the bill they call me asking where my money is. WTF?! I just got the bill, you told me this was ok. ugh...

Me not bringing my wallet to dinner last night with Cassie.. WTF?! No card, cash or check. Nothing. I had a purse filled with tampons, pacifiers and carmex.

WELLLLL I gotta go because I gotta work out today. I need to lose like 2 inches in 2 weeks. haha. WTF.
BUT it's Wednesday so it's ok to say WTF!! go ahead, make my day.

This song reminds me of a vacation we went on when I was younger.. I don't remember where we were. Maybe Myrtle Beach? idk but our hotel was right on the beach and there was a little bar right outside.. and I SWEAR I heard my Dad sing this song the.whole.time. we were on that vacation. oh the memories. lol. God love him.....

My brother showed me this video on his phone a few weeks back.. and I laughed. Then tonight I saw the kid on America's Got Talent. So I showed Brandon the video. And he said "yeah babe, he looks goofy." haha, I just keep laughing. Brandon thinks it would be funnier if "I knew the guy or somethin.. and he was all drunked up and did it."

I don't care what he thinks.. I think it's HILARIOUS! enjoy.

Two songs popped in my head as soon as I read today's title.. so I decided to post them both.

Heard this one in the car not too long ago and pretty much lost it.. so many songs have such a different meaning now that I am a mom and I have Brandon in my life, (Mr. Sappy himself) but this one really hit me hard! Damn you Tim!

I bought this cd when I was pregnant and heard this song as I was driving home from the store.. I knew I was having a girl too.. yeah, it wasn't a pretty sight.

I swear I AM a happy person! lol.

Day 3- a song that makes you happy

if you haven't noticed yet.. this is gonna take me a lot longer than 30 days. But hey. I have a 5 month old, a life.. and this is MY BLOG. So here, let's get happy.

A Chicago Style Wilgraf Weekend

We had a busy busy weekend! Lyla and I went to Chicago for some of Dustin and Melissa's wedding stuff.. daddy had to stay home and work.. we missed him soooo much but had a great time!

Thursday evening we decided to go to Tequila's to eat (because I didn't want to dishes before I left... right?!) and then we came home so I could pack and Brandon could get some Lyla time in before we left him at home for the weekend.

Friday morning we were up bright and early to get our morning routine done and to Red Bud before ten. We had about a five hour drive ahead of us.... the drive went ok.. Lyla was pretty good! I don't blame her for not wanting to be in that seat sometimes. :( But she is definately not one of those babies that just falls asleep in the car either! After we finally got to Chicago and checked into our hotel and showered.. we went to eat with Dustin and Melissa. That night was pretty early because we had a big day ahead of us!

Saturday was Melissa's shower and bachelorette party! The shower was at 11:30 and an hour away so we had to get goin pretty early to get 4 girls ready and there on time. Lyla was in a pretty happy mood the whole time and she loved seeing all the people! She even got to hang out with Uncle Dustin a little and she met some other little girls!

After the shower we had a few things to do then it was back to Melissa's mom's house to get ready for the bachelorette party. We got ready quickly and headed out to catch the train. We had about an hour ride on the train to get downtown. Of course we got on the part with no air...... but I worked a little magic and found us some new seats on a much cooler penquin cave like car.

We finally got of the effing train and got to the restaurant we were having dinner at. (I won't talk about how we got there... hot..) It was called the Rockit Bar and Grill. The food and drinks were great! a little pricey but I was prepared for that... Then it was off to the show at the Baton Lounge! I'll have to admit.. this is what caught me a little off-guard. Check it out. yep.. made my jaw drop for a few minutes. I seriously didn't know what to expect. The invitation said "show". Yes, it was a "drag show". what? what are they gonna do? I really thought it was gonna be like a fashion show. haha. Little did I know they were gonna come out singing and dancing. Like, insane. These "girls?" were prettier than me. I will never listen to Pink's "Raise Your Glass" the same way. Crazy thing is- there were THIRTEEN bachelorette parties there!! I guess it's the place to go! And I have to admit, it was fun and I will probably never forget it! We ended the night at a piano bar in walking distance. I would call the night a success! And I think the bride would too...

Dustin is one luckkkky guy. :)



And PTL for Dustin. Cause him and his friend Jeff came to the city to pick all of us up! ANNNND made some breakfast the next morning! Dustin makes a mean biscuits and gravy. AND had seasoned salt just for me cause I can't eat bng without it.

The drive home wasn't as easy as the drive there.. fuss butt. But we made it! and we were happy to be in our own beds! One more month til the wedding!
